  1. I have to say, as a big Star Trek fan, I was very disappointed in the Gold Key Star Trek comics. With the photos from the TV series on the cover, I expected better artwork than I got inside the comic, but these were the days of “It’s the only game in town.” I sometimes wonder if younger fans, of whatever franchises, really appreciate the Golden Age in which we’re living these days, with many Star Trek series and movies, a cornucopia of Marvel movies and DC TV series, etc. I often remark that, if someone had told say, eight-year-old me, that someday, there would be weekly TV series featuring (at one point) Rip Hunter, Time Master, to say nothing of Green Arrow, Flash, Atom, Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, and more, I would simply not have believed it.

I’m looking forward to your “take” on Superman-Red and Superman-Blue. Thanks for doing that.
