Join me as we travel back to 1985 and begin our look as Season 2 of The Transformers. In "Autobot Spike," Spike is injured and has his brain put into a robotic body created by Sparkplug. In "Changing Gears," Megatron's plans require the use of Gears' personality chip, turning Gears into a nice Autobot.

Wrapping up the first season of The Transformers, we are introduced to 2 new Decepticon teams. Believe it or not, in "Plague of the Insecticons," we are introduced to the Insecticons. And in "Heavy Metal War," the Constructicons make their debut, as well as the first Transformers Combiner, Devastator.

Meanwhile, he also utilizes Dr. Arkeville's Hypno-Chip to create human slaves, including Spike's dad, Sparkplug!

Today, on The Transformers, the Autobots learn about dinosaurs, and decide it would be a good idea to build their own in "S.O.S. Dinobots." Also, remember when I said Skyfire would not return in Season 1? Well, it turns out he returns in the 2nd episode when Megatron creates a super powerful cannon, and the Autobots must stop him in "Fire On the Mountain."

In "Divide & Conquer," Optimus Prime is badly damaged, and the Autobots have to go back to Cybertron to retrieve the part he needs before he goes offline. In "Fire in the Sky," the Decepticons unearth a long lost Transformer, who has to decided which side he wants to be on.
